In a mysterious and surreal area between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to reclaim it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly distracted tourists through the monuments and historical sites of Winnipeg. Matthew leaves his insignificant job at a Quebec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities blur, intertwine and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
