General description of ShipploTter Coaa h2>
shows full information about ships within the VHF range of its position using the Universal Automatic Identification System (AIS). It is the system used to communicate with each other as part of the world maritime security system. Use a low -cost radio scanner adjusted to one or another of these channels.
All ships of more than 300 tons must transport an AIS system that transmits information about the ship to any properly equipped receiver. The frequencies used are 161,975 (Marina CH 87 AIS) and 162,025 (CH 88 AIS) MHz. The ships transmit their identity, position, course, speed and destination so that other ships can take into account their movements.
Characteristics of Shipplootter COAA The system.
- In the message mode, Shipplootter shows each message decoded in simple language on the screen of its PC.
- In shipping mode, Shipplootter shows each message decoded in simple language on the screen of your PC. There is a line on the screen for each ship. Depending on what message formats have been received from the ship, the information can contain the MSI number of the ship, its name, destination, expected date and time of arrival, length, beam and draft, and the latest position report received from the ship.
- In the graphic mode, Shipplootter shows the position and identification of each ship in a graph of the area. SHIPLOTTER comes with a world map of general use, but you can add your maps to ShipploTter simply digitizing a graph to create a BMP or JPG graphic file and calibrate the graphic using integrated tools in Shipplootter. SHIPLOTTER can also read the BSB format marine graphics provided that the performance of its system, memory, etc., can handle the size of the table.
- In graphic mode, if you right click on one of the ships shown the graph, an emerging window (right) shows all the data received on the ship you have selected. If you are connected to the Internet, a search button will access the IU Boat Indulcent Database Database to discover even more details about the ship, including its registration port.
- SHIPLOTTER can store all messages received and decoded in a text file for subsequent analysis. You can also store messages in formats that are not decoded, in a hexadecimal format for subsequent decoding.
- SHIPLOTTER can show the position and identification of ships on a circular screen focused on the user’s position, which can be a dynamic position based on positions of a connected GPS receptor. This radar screen can be north up or head.
- SHIPLOTTER can decode messages received from an isolated receiver using the NMEA serial format.
Series output: Shipplootter can issue demodulated messages to any AIS compatible compatibility with AIS PLOTTER in series using the NMEA serial format.
- SHIPLOTTER can include position data from a local GPS receptor in the graph that is shown and automatically the graphic in the current position.
- Shipplootter can use the Internet to share their messages with others so that everyone see all the messages received by participating users.
- ShipploTter can share received messages with other instances of the program that is executed in machines through a local area network.
Series output: Shipplootter can issue demodulated messages to any AIS compatible compatibility with AIS PLOTTER in series using the NMEA serial format.
Multiple sound card support: ShipploTter can choose between multiple sound cards if you have more than one. Subject to the processing power, you can execute multiple instances of SHIPLOTTER processing audio from more than one source.
