Here’s a proofread and improved version of your update: I just watched all five episodes. I wasn’t really feeling it for the second episode, but I decided to watch it. Cohen’s adaptations seem to follow a pattern of largely unrelated or overly complicated story threads that all neatly come together in the final episode. While the previous ones were pretty good, this one was really weak in comparison. The acting was okay and the characters weren’t terrible, but the story just wasn’t engaging or compelling. It felt more like a matter of just getting through to the end. I wouldn’t say don’t watch it, but if you have other options in your lineup, I’d definitely prioritize them over this one.
