Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet, which causes them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in “The Skeleton Team”; and even more stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that entertains the young Neal siblings is the same Chewbacca family time from the infamous Star Wars (1978) holiday special. Actors of the insane animated film “Animat”: Stupid Old Deadly Bear (2022). I know there’s going to be a lot of hate for this show because of the recent ups and downs of Star Wars, so I’m happy to report that it’s a splash. So far… The first 2 episodes are not new and not very original, but it doesn’t matter because everything fits together perfectly. The cast and acting are great, the costumes/sets are probably the best we’ve seen since Andorra, the script, especially the fun banter between the children, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s still intriguing, and I can’t wait to continue watching. It gives me a strong Treasure Planet vibe. As someone who didn’t like the last few Star Wars myself, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope that anyone who is slightly interested or even upset by the last show will give it a chance. Don’t let "kids" tongues repel you. “Star Wars” is made for everyone, and this too.
